Vivian Merker helps financial institutions innovate, grow, and operate effectively, as a Partner in the Retail and Business Banking Practice.

As the lead of Oliver Wyman’s Small Business Banking priority in North America, Vivian consults with banks on their strategic priorities for small business, including sales and service digitization, product design, process optimization, talent management, and regulatory and risk issues. She also oversees a variety of research efforts that support Small Business Banking projects, including Oliver Wyman’s triennial survey of 5,000 small businesses and an annual benchmarking and customer insights study for sponsor banks in partnership with Barlow Research Associates.

Vivian graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University. She is based in New York City.
