Victor is a Principal in the Financial Services practice of Oliver Wyman Belgium and France. Through his years at Oliver Wyman, Victor became an industry expert on risk management (credit risk, market risk) as well as in the sustainability space (ESG, climate risk).
The main challenges in the financial services industry are to meet short-term objectives in a difficult macro-economic context, while still meeting their long-term goals (ESG, profitability, market shares). Real winners will be able to turn these challenges into opportunities
Born in Ghent, Victor is fluent in Dutch, French and English. He graduated magna cum laude at the Solvay Business School with a summa cum laude exchange in South Korea.
Victor’s motivation for strategy consulting lies in the impact and strategic importance of our projects have for our clients; as well as the relationships built with clients and colleagues internationally.
Beyond his experience in consulting, Victor enjoys spending time with his son and wife, trekking, Scooba diving and logging down trees.
