A partner in our Aerospace and Defense Practice, Vanda leads in our Government Services and Technology sector.

Operating from Washington DC, she facilitates more than two dozen mergers and acquisitions (M&A) engagements annually. These range from large, diversified buysides to targeted capability enhancements and ongoing portfolio-shaping support, to complex sellside engagements where indepth market knowledge significantly aids completion. Vanda's focus on services and technology firms is based on her extensive experience of more than 10 years working with service-based businesses. During this time, she has successfully helped these companies improve their competitive positioning, secure key contracts, and grow inorganically.

Vanda's experience in capture support (“price to win”) and strategic planning for services firms allows her to provide contract-level and portfolio-level insights and recommendations on a business’ value proposition and operational dynamics. Her work has covered a range of federal and state and local services and technology markets.

Every business has a unique story. Understanding the nuances while drawing on macro themes is a process that is distinct to each business, yet crucial for decision-making. Our goal is to work with clients to answer their questions, and lay out the keys for the story

She holds an MA in European Studies (Business and Government) from the Georgetown Walsh School of Foreign Service, and a BA (cum laude) in Romance Languages from Harvard University.

Her enduring passion for Hispanic and French literature makes her an enthusiastic reader and speaker of Spanish and French. She also aspires to learn Italian, which, much like her library, is a work in progress. As a first-generation American with Peruvian and Colombian roots, Vanda is always happy to discuss culture and history, and she has very strong opinions about cuisine.
