Tom is a Partner in our global Corporate Finance and Advisory practice, and is based in London. He thrives on variety and works with major investors and leading financial institutions across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia on a wide range of engagements. His primary focus is on transaction-related advice and portfolio company value creation for leading venture capitalists and private equity investors.

His work covers a wide range of sectors, but he has a strong interest in the way digital disruption is transforming industries and has extensive experience working with technology investors, particularly in fintech, in the UK and US.

In addition to transaction-related advice, his experience includes working on strategy and operational design of venture capital and private equity fund structures; the development of risk management and performance frameworks; and regulatory response work for general partners as well as leading industry associations.

Tom is an engineer at heart, having gained a first class degree in Chemical Engineering and Management Studies from Cambridge University, and loves meeting management teams and understanding the fundamentals of what makes businesses tick. Outside of work he is a keen cricketer focused on encouraging his young family into the game.
