Tom is a partner in Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Natural Resources Practice.
He has more than 25 years of experience in top strategy consulting firms and extensive knowledge of supply chain, operations improvement, and cost reductions within the resources, oil and gas, energy, chemicals, FMCG, and aviation industries.
During his career, Tom has worked and lived throughout Australia, Asia, Europe, and the US. He has also co-founded three businesses.
After many years in strategy consulting, I took the leap to set up and run several businesses. The experience was truly humbling and gave me tremendous insights into the realities of being the person who is ultimately accountable. I learned that commercial pragmatism and simplicity are key drivers for successful implementation, regardless of how clever the strategy
Prior to his current role, Tom successfully led major operations improvement and business transformation efforts for global companies in a large variety of industries. Tom is bilingual in German and English and is proficient in several other languages, including French and Dutch.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys traveling to broaden his perspectives.
