Tim is a partner in our Aerospace and Defense Practice, based in our Washington, DC office.
He has extensive experience in uniting teams to assist aerospace and defense contractors in achieving their growth objectives. His expertise includes rigorous strategic planning, analysis of core and adjacent markets, capture support and pricing strategy, and business process improvement.
Tim joined Oliver Wyman in 2022 through the acquisition of Avascent, where he spent more than 20 years helping to grow the firm into one of the leading consultancies serving Aerospace and Defense. As a managing director at Avascent, he helped establish the firm's Business Capture and Pricing Practice, which supported clients in successfully capturing of tens of billions of dollars in contract award value.
Continuing in this role at Oliver Wyman, Tim has overseen successful capture and price-to-win campaigns in the air, land, sea, and space domains, spanning both platform and mission system solutions, as well as engineering services.

Tim has built trusted client relationships, some of which span two decades. His clients often invite him and his teams to help solve critical problems in their businesses. These range from underperforming back-office functions to corporate-level strategies, tactical pricing decisions, and more. In this capacity, Tim has supported the reorganization of corporate finance departments, the development of new business development and capture organizations, and the creation of business cases for ambitious growth strategies.
Tim has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics Management from Ohio Wesleyan University.
Outside of work, he relishes time with his wife and their three children, whether relaxing at home, camping, riding offroad motorcycles, or visiting with family and friends.
