Ted is a partner in our Actuarial Life Practice, based in Chicago. As our Data, Technology, and Operations Transformation Leader, he helps life insurers, annuity providers, and workforce benefits carriers transform their value chains, data environments, administration platforms, and operating models.
With more than 25 years of experience advising clients, Ted develops and implements strategies for some of the industry's most complex operations and technology transformations. He has deep expertise across the insurance value chain, including distribution, new business and underwriting, post-issue servicing, claims, billing, and commissions.
Ted partners with clients to modernize operations, optimize technology and data ecosystems, and integrate AI to deliver measurable business outcomes. He also advises established solution providers, insurtechs, and AI startups on future strategy and how best to serve the insurance industry.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Ted was EY's global leader for life, annuity, and workforce benefits technology and transformation, and Deloitte's life technology practice leader. He has advised many of the largest life insurers in the US and globally, working closely with operations and technology executives on complex transformation initiatives.
Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Northwestern University, with a minor in computer science. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking, running, and cycling.
