He works with a global team of dedicated financial services partners to drive growth and improve the customer experience across the full spectrum of consumer financial services, with a strong focus on retail banking and payments.
Pablo has 25 years of consulting experience in financial services, leading strategic and transformational projects for major European banks and financial institutions.
He helps banks, schemes, and payment service providers set strategy, execute large transformations, and deliver growth — often in complex, multi-country settings that require strong stakeholder management and rigorous program governance. His core skills span payments strategy and operating model design, roadmap and use-case development, commercial and pricing design, and end-to-end execution support, including PMO leadership, carve-outs, and post-merger integration.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman in 2018, he spent 15 years at Boston Consulting Group and two years as a member of the executive committee of the Spanish subsidiary of a leading European bank, where he managed the consumer finance and personal banking businesses in Spain.
Pablo holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Deusto. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
