Olivier is a principal in our Actuarial Property and Casualty (P&C) Practice, based in Toronto. He advises senior insurance executives on modernizing actuarial functions, with a particular emphasis on building modern pricing and ratemaking capabilities.
For more than a decade, Olivier has partnered with P&C insurers to improve their pricing sophistication, ratemaking, reserving, and underwriting analytics. He is an expert at designing and implementing core actuarial infrastructure, combining traditional actuarial techniques with advanced analytics and machine learning. He helps insurers improve their decision-making, modernize complex processes, and scale actuarial insights across the business.
Olivier has specialized expertise in developing rating algorithms and predictive models for commercial property, general liability, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, and personal lines products. He has led the build-out of enterprise pricing platforms, modernized pricing processes using Python and other software tools, and supported both incumbents and startups with product launches and the development of pricing infrastructure.

Olivier holds a Bachelor of Science in actuarial mathematics from Concordia University. He is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an associate of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. He is also a frequent speaker at industry events.
Outside of work, Olivier enjoys spending time in the mountains and participating in sports like rock climbing and skiing. He is also deeply interested in scientific and technological progress and likes to stay up to date on the latest developments.
