Effective compliance is embedded in how an institution operates and how the business makes decisions

His recent work includes supporting a global bank on a capital markets remediation initiative, including enhancements to supervisory controls and surveillance; transforming trade surveillance through a new operating model, governance framework, and vendor tooling; and developing a target-state framework and roadmap to strengthen conflict-of-interest and broader information controls.

Nikunj holds a Bachelor of Arts in politics, philosophy and economics from Oxford University and a master of public administration from Columbia University, where he focused on international finance policy. Combined with his earlier experience at HM Treasury working on financial stability, his academic background has shaped a longstanding interest in the intersection of financial institutions, public policy, and regulation — and how firms navigate evolving regulatory expectations
