Nico is a principal in the Transportation Practice, and is also a member of the Pricing, Sales and Marketing Practice.

He joined Oliver Wyman’s London office in 2013, then spent several years in New York City, and has been based in Montreal since 2021.

Nico helps clients tackle novel problems with many moving parts. He works extensively with airlines and has been involved in several restructuring and transformation efforts globally, helping airlines redefine their business model, strategy, product, commercial strategy, cost and revenue targets, and operations. He also has considerable experience with loyalty programs in airlines and other industries. Clients seek him out for his energy and ability to handle complex, multi-faceted issues with many stakeholders and competing priorities.

Rapid changes in customer needs, technological leaps (such as artificial intelligence and autonomous driving), and sustainability imperatives create challenges. However, they also create opportunities for those who can adapt

Nico was raised in a mid-sized city in Argentina, born into a family of entrepreneurs and business owners. His childhood was spent exploring factory floors and navigating dairy farms. In  addition to aviation, he is passionate about mobility, urban planning, and economic development.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from HEC Montréal as well as a Master’s degree in Economics and Management from the London School of Economics.

Outside of work, Nico enjoys skiing (alpine and cross-country), a good morning run, cooking for friends and family, and discovering new places. He speaks Spanish, French, English, and German, and also has some knowledge of Portuguese.
