Michelle Daisley is a partner in our Finance and Risk and People And Organizational Performance Practices in London.

She has helped many major banks, insurers, and other financial institutions to improve the robustness of their Risk Governance frameworks and the effectiveness of their Risk Management functions. She has conducted Board Effectiveness reviews for a number of leading financial firms and has helped many institutions to transform their Risk Culture.

Michelle has authored a number of Oliver Wyman reports, most notably the first Women in Financial Services report.

It’s not just about social justice or corporate social responsibility. A lack of senior staff diversity is bad for business — bad for employee morale, bad for customer service, and bad for shareholder returns

She rejoined the firm in 2009 having spent several years in senior roles within the Treasury and Risk functions of a major UK Bank and holds a MA (Hons) degree from Cambridge University.

Michelle is a founder member of an Improvisational Comedy Troupe who regularly perform shows comprising sketches, scenes and songs made up on the spot based on audience suggestions. She brings many of her acting skills into her client work.

Thinking on your feet, working collaboratively, and listening carefully are as important in consulting as they are in improvisation

Michelle lives in London with her husband and two sons.
