He is a strategic and Mergers and Acquisitions advisor providing valuable insights to private equity funds, hedge funds, ultra-high net worth ($1b+) individuals, portfolio companies, and corporate clients across the entire buy side, sell side, growth strategy development, and value creation processes.
In this role, Michael has worked on more than 100 projects, driving client deal volume of more than $100 billion. He has over a decade of experience working directly with or providing direct consulting services to private equity clients, with his global project experience spanning all major industry verticals.
Strategy and deal consulting is evolving, and clients expect more than just the what and the why. They expect to understand how a strategy will be implemented regardless of how innovative it is. Strategy without a full evaluation of cost implications and a practical approach for implementation just ends up on a shelf
Michael is a collaborative leader who enjoys fostering high-performance teams and driving growth strategy, transactions, due diligence, and C-suite performance improvement initiatives for top-tier private equity, hedge fund, and corporate clients.
When he’s not working at Oliver Wyman, Michael is an adrenaline junkie and nature lover who enjoys everything from surfing, rock climbing, and backcountry skiing to downhill mountain biking and long-distance backcountry treks.
