 // . //  Our People //  Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor is a London-based Partner and the co-leader of Customer First, Oliver Wyman’s innovation offering.

He brings over 20 years of international experience leading cross-functional teams on the ground in Seattle, London, and San Francisco to identify and realize value between people and businesses that creates compelling growth in new and better ways.

My passion has always been to support clients on their path to success by listening to what matters most to people — my clients, their customers, their employees, and communities — in their everyday lives, and then realizing breakthrough innovations to meet these needs.

Mark comes to Oliver Wyman from Salesforce Office of Innovation in San Francisco HQ, their human-centered design and professional services practice, where he supported transformation leaders in building next-generation solutions that transform their businesses around their customers.

His expertise in customer-led transformation has taken him on a journey with leadership roles at Microsoft, Publicis Razorfish, Organic.com, Havas, and Centrica, that has equipped him with a unique skill set as an executive of client-side transformations, inventor of real-time technologies for customer experiences, and trusted advisor to clients to tie together customer needs with business capabilities and ecosystems needed to innovate with outcomes in mind.

Mark's favourite quote are Joel Arthur Barker's words: “Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world.”

Motivated to share his professional philosophy with others, Mark authored the first “Always-On Marketing” international study, and has been a curriculum advisor for the University of Washington's Business Extension Program and Foster School of Business.

Mark is the proud father of Rose Sierra and Theo Xander, and enjoys yoga with his wife, who is the founder of Athletes for Yoga.
