Mark James is a partner in Oliver Wyman’s global Finance and Risk Digital practice and leads the firm’s Cybersecurity practice across EMEA.
He works primarily with financial services and public sector clients, helping them address complex challenges across technology, data, operations, and cybersecurity. Mark brings more than 25 years of international experience, with senior roles spanning Asia, Europe, and North America.

Before moving to London in 2014, Mark led Oliver Wyman’s Technology and Operations practice in Asia-Pacific. Prior to that, he served as Head of Re-engineering at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore.
His combination of consulting and industry experience gives Mark a practical perspective on how organizations can strengthen their technology and operations while building greater resilience against evolving cyber threats.
