Lawrence is a principal in our Transportation and Services and Pricing, Sales, and Marketing practices, with a focus on the travel and leisure industry, based in Washington, DC.

He advises top companies across the industry including hotels, airlines, online travel agencies, and tech firms on strategies to improve their operations and profits. His expertise covers areas such as pricing, inventory management, distribution, mergers and acquisitions, go-to-market strategies, and improving organizational efficiency.

Lawrence's journey in the travel and leisure field began after he completed his undergraduate studies at Babson College in Boston. He started his career at InterContinental Hotels Group, in Global Revenue Management, where he redefined the inventory and pricing strategies for the global portfolio of brands to adapt to changing traveler needs. After eight years, he earned his MBA from American University and joined Oliver Wyman. Here, he uses data-backed insights to help clients succeed in the ever-changing travel and leisure industry, focusing on commercial, operational, and technological innovations.

Creating a successful strategy in the travel and leisure industry goes beyond data-backed insights. It starts with understanding the needs of customers and, crucially, our clients' employees. A winning strategy must prioritize a customer and employee-first approach

The travel and leisure industry is known for its challenges, including evolving technology and shifting traveler preferences. Lawrence assists his clients in navigating these challenges, developing clear and financially impactful strategies. He has experience in redefining technology systems, vendor selection, pricing strategies, and even creating new business units. Beyond his work, Lawrence is involved in cutting-edge developments such as biometrics across the traveler journey and the impact of Generative AI on leisure travel.

Outside of work, Lawrence enjoys spending time watching his son play tennis and his daughter in the ballet studio, and traveling with his wife.
