Khalid has a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA in International Aviation from Concordia University, Montreal, and a Bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering.
Aviation industry is known to have the hardest problems as it has so many variables within and beyond the control of airlines, and that gives the right amount of challenge to roll-up the sleeves and make an impact for the clients.
As a specialist in the industry, Khalid has spearheaded the large-scale digital transformation of an emirates airline including the use of analytics and AI, machine learning and predictive analytics.
His expertise also extends to advising the commercial area of business including planning and strategy, loyalty, digital transformation, innovation, revenue management, sales and cargo.
Aside from achieving a good business result, Khalid believes that the aviation industry has interesting problems where the work is deeply impactful for organisations and governments worldwide. With a can-do attitude to help identify problems, many opportunities can be found to disrupt and innovate.
