Kathryn is a senior advisor at Oliver Wyman, specializing in regulatory compliance, risk management, regulatory policy, governance, and ethics. She brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services, including senior leadership roles in large, complex institutions.
Most recently, Kathryn spent more than a decade as Chief Compliance Officer for Citibank NA and Citi’s Global Consumer Banking business. Earlier in her career, she held senior legal and compliance roles at American Express and within the securities industry.
Her experience spans compliance program design, regulatory change, governance, and complex risk issues across both established financial institutions and fintechs. She also serves as a regulatory adviser to Hummingbird RegTech.

Kathryn is an Adjunct Professor at New York University School of Law, where she teaches compliance and risk management, and a Senior Fellow in the Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement. She was elected to the American Law Institute in 2016.
She holds a JD from New York University School of Law and graduated from Princeton University’s School of Public Affairs.
