Based in London, Kajal is a partner in our Private Capital Practice.
Kajal specializes in integrated commercial and product technology diligence, as well as strategic advice and value creation services for private equity clients and financial sponsors. Her focus is on the software and technology sectors.
She currently focuses most of her time on diligence and value creation for software and technology assets aimed at private equity clients. This includes horizontal software (such as ERP and HR systems), vertical software (such as healthcare software and educational tech), and IT services businesses (such as web hosting, IT/tech consulting firms, and tech-enabled business services companies).
Her past experience involved technology mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and transaction-related services, including diligence, carveouts, and synergies/cost-saving value creation plans. Prior to her private equity and M&A consulting career, Kajal spent a decade as a software engineer and solution architect, gaining extensive experience in designing and developing software products for large corporate clients in the banking, financial services, and retail sectors.
Every client, company, or person is unique. Our ever-changing world and evolving business context add new perspectives and colors to the same fundamental questions. This is why I never get bored, even after so many years of working on deals
Kajal has a bachelor of engineering degree from Pune University (India) and an MBA from the University of Oxford. She is an associate fellow of Said Business School, Oxford, where she participates as a guest speaker in the private equity course and has contributed to several online and short courses.
In her spare time, Kajal enjoys playing chess, reading books, and listening to podcasts.
