Josh is a senior principal in our Actuarial Practice, based in Toronto.
He advises life and annuity insurers on complex actuarial, modeling, and risk management challenges.
His work focuses on strategic advisory, target operating model design, actuarial model development, model validation, and life and annuity valuation. Josh partners with insurers to strengthen actuarial and risk capabilities through large-scale transformation initiatives.
Josh's experience includes designing target operating models, assessing model risk management capabilities, and leading transformation engagements. He has also supported clients across a broad range of actuarial modeling work, including actuarial appraisals, model conversions, and financial reporting implementations across major actuarial modeling platforms.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman in 2016, Josh was part of Ernst and Young's Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services practice in Boston.
Josh earned a Bachelor of Mathematics in actuarial science with a finance option from the University of Waterloo. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
