He focuses on expanding and activating the firm's global partner ecosystem across practices, regions, and sectors, helping teams bring the right capabilities together for clients. He also leads our capabilities practices and Quotient, our AI team, in Europe.

With more than 25 years of experience, Johaan has worked with many leading organizations on performance-transformation initiatives, covering shareholder value creation, operating model redesign, technology modernization, and scaling AI to drive real results.
Outside of Oliver Wyman, Johaan has a deep passion for developing young people and believes academic education alone is not enough to help them achieve their full potential. He has served as a trustee of Young Enterprise since 2017.
With what’s left of his time, Johaan stays busy being extremely competitive at any sport, seeking out and collecting obscure wines, and spending time with his wife and three children. He is happiest when entertaining family and friends, usually over a barbecue, whatever the weather.
