We're facing the greatest energy system challenge in living memory. This is going to be a journey that will require incremental and purposeful investment. The energy industry will play a critical role in this process, providing the capabilities and capital to deliver on the energy transition

Her role as a thought partner to energy programs such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI) has seen her lead future of energy programs for the former, contributing to the Paris Climate Accord. She currently sits on the SMI steering team and is the co-author of Financing The Energy Transition. She has also co-developed the resulting energy transition rating framework currently being implemented by Sustainable Fitch.

A lawyer by training, Joanne was hooked by the energy industry not far into her career, and still has the bug. While her focus has led her to many corners of the globe, she calls London home.
