His primary responsibilities are to provide actuarial consulting services, including estimates of unpaid claim liabilities and economic capital modeling, to large captives, self-insured corporations and traditional insurance companies. Jeff also advises a number of clients on Solvency II issues, including compliance, strategic capital planning, and internal models.
Jeff currently serves as the Loss Reserve Specialist for a Bermuda based insurance company and serves as the signing actuary for an Ireland based captive insurance company. He also has experience serving as the appointed actuary for U.S. based insurance companies.
Jeff is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland. He has been approved to serve as a Loss Reserve Specialist by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and holds signing certificates issued by the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Jeff was a Senior Manager at KPMG LLP where his primary responsibilities included reviewing the adequacy of loss and loss adjustment expense reserves for numerous insurance companies, reinsurance companies and self-insured clients. Jeff served as the appointed actuary for a number of insurance companies and his work has encompassed all major property and casualty lines of business.
