Jason is a senior principal based in New York. As the North American head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for our Actuarial Property and Casualty (P&C) Practice, he regularly advises investment firms and reinsurance companies on complex M&A and insurance-linked securities (ILS) transactions, supporting clients through the actuarial due diligence process and deal execution both on the buy-side and sell-side.

With more than 20 years of industry consulting experience, Jason is an expert at loss ratio projections and reserve analyses for insurers, reinsurers, managing general agents, and other insurance-related entities.

He has expertise in many lines of business, including general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, product liability, professional liability, and title insurance. He is regularly called upon to provide Statements of Actuarial Opinion, support regulatory engagements in the US and Bermuda, and advise on mass tort modeling and complex risk evaluations.

Earlier in his actuarial career, Jason worked in the Global Energy unit of Zurich Insurance Group, focusing on commercial property coverages and large‑account pricing. Prior to that, he was a consultant at Willis Towers Watson.
