Jamie is a principal in our Health and Life Sciences practice in our London office.
He advises life sciences companies and investors on pharmaceutical portfolio strategy, driving sustainable growth across research, development, commercial innovation, and transactions.
Over the past eight years as a strategy consultant, Jamie has helped clients shape pharmaceutical portfolios in increasingly competitive markets and across a broad range of therapeutic areas. His work spans early research prioritization, unmet need assessment, new modality strategy, platform investment, and portfolio-level capital allocation.
The strongest pharmaceutical portfolios are focused enough to build disease-area leadership, but flexible enough to capture new modalities and scalable platforms. Smart capital allocation can turn scientific promise into real impact for patients
His portfolio strategy work has supported major acquisitions and divestitures, including large-scale global transactions. He is passionate about building portfolios that can deliver returns in a sustainable manner — for example, he has helped clients navigate complex sustainability regulations, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
Jamie holds a master’s degree in chemistry and biology from Durham University, where he researched novel antibiotics derived from frog skin.
