Ian is a partner in our Finance, Risk, and Restructuring and Banking and Financial Services practices in our Washington, DC office, and is the leader of our Fraud Risk Management platform.
He brings 26 years of experience as a global fraud and financial-crime leader, having managed teams across 14 countries and held senior leadership positions at Fifth Third Bank, Ally Financial, GE, and USAA.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Washington and has led enterprise-scale fraud prevention, detection, response, and corporate investigations programs spanning payments, digital channels, identity, scams, and emerging financial-crime threats.

Ian is the founder and chair of The Knoble, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting the financial services ecosystem to protect vulnerable populations and combat human crimes, including human trafficking, scams, child exploitation, and elder financial exploitation. Ian’s work is grounded in personal commitment to purpose, integrity, and impact.
