Hendrik is a partner in the Operations and Automotive & Manufacturing Industries Practices and the leader of the Oliver Wyman Detroit office. For the past 10 years, he has been leading complex projects related to value sourcing and procurement, as well as international transformation projects, post-merger integration (PMI), and organizational restructuring.
My private equity and industrial clients are often facing substantial change and transformation as a result of changing environmental conditions.
Before joining Oliver Wyman in 2013, Hendrik spent two years in Beijing, China, working for a leading global universal bank on improving its business model. Being at the center of such dramatic change has made him understand what his clients are going through today.
Hendrik has significant experience in global business integration programs, post-merger integration and procurement transformation, as well as mid-term profit improvement programs. Clients value him for his commitment to finding opportunities for cost reduction through saving and improving operation models.
When entering private equity and the industrial space, it is important to keep an open mind, stay curious and be genuinely excited about new things.
Hendrik holds a master’s degree in business engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, and spent one year at National University of Singapore. He is fluent in English and German.
