Hang Qian is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Finance & Risk / Public Policy practice.

Hang has more than eight years of experience in consulting to leading financial service institutions in North America and North Asia, with a focus on the US market and the Chinese market. He has worked on a wide range of topics including market risk modeling, credit loss modeling and forecasting for commercial and retail portfolios, business volume / revenue projection,  enterprise-wide capital planning and stress testing, operational risk, deposit, liability and liquidity analysis, and economic capital. In early 2017, he transferred from the New York office to China.

Hang Qian holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dartmouth College in Economics and Mathematics. He is fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin. He joined Oliver Wyman in 2011.
