Based in Paris, Gilles is a senior advisor, bringing his expertise in the services, hospitality, and media sectors.
Gilles began his career with the Accor Group in 1983. Until 1995, he held various positions across the United States and the Asia-Pacific region, including roles as CEO of Courtepaille restaurants and Novotel hotels. He was later appointed CEO of Disneyland Paris Resort, eventually becoming Chairman and CEO.
He then joined SUEZ, where he led the Suez-Telefónica ST3G consortium, a candidate for a third-generation mobile telephony license. Following this, he became CEO of Bouygues Telecom and was subsequently promoted to Chairman and CEO.
Gilles later returned to Accor, first as CEO and then as Chairman and CEO, where he successfully led the spin-off of Accor Services and oversaw its IPO in Paris under the name “Edenred.” Most recently, he served as Chairman and CEO of TF1 for seven years.

Gilles is president of Unifrance and the Lyfe Institute, a management school specializing in culinary arts and hospitality. He also serves as an independent director at Sodexo and Peugeot Frères industries.
He is an officer of the Order of Arts and Letters and a knight of both the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit.
Gilles holds degrees from ESSEC Business School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Outside of work, he has two children and enjoys golf, gastronomy and cinema.
