Gilbert is a partner in our Americas Energy and Natural Resources Practice. He brings more than 15 years of experience across the energy value chain, helping executive teams navigate complex business challenges at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology.
He has built data science capabilities and led large-scale transformation programs as a chief digital officer. He has also helped energy companies modernize operations through cloud, AI, and industrial analytics.
His experience spans upstream, midstream, refining, power generation, and utilities, with a focus on asset reliability, production optimization, and the integration of digital and AI into physical operations. He has built predictive systems, developed patented approaches, and helped create the analytical foundations behind industrial digital products.

Gilbert holds a PhD and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from the American University of Beirut. His doctoral research focused on computational modeling and additive manufacturing, reflecting the same engineering and problem-solving foundation that has shaped his career.
Gilbert lives in Houston with his wife and son. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family and exploring different cultures, cuisines, and destinations. Fluent in French and Arabic, he brings a global perspective to both his personal life and his work with clients around the world.
