Edward is a senior manager in our Actuarial Property and Casualty (P&C) Practice, based in New York.

As an actuary and data scientist, he designs and delivers transformative analytics and technology-driven solutions for P&C insurers. He specializes in applying predictive analytics and machine learning across underwriting, pricing, and claims management. Edward works closely with clients to modernize decision-making processes, improve risk segmentation, and embed advanced models into their core business processes. His work spans the full analytics lifecycle — from strategy and design through implementation — with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.

Before joining Oliver Wyman, Edward spent more than a decade working in the P&C insurance industry, including senior positions at leading Canadian insurers. In these roles, he advanced pricing sophistication, led analytics transformation initiatives, and developed underwriting and claims models to improve transparency, scalability, and outcomes. His experience also includes building retrieval-augmented chatbots to support fraud detection teams and leading research and development of machine-learning solutions across actuarial functions.

Edward holds a Bachelor of Science in actuarial science and economics from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in actuarial management from Bayes Business School. He is also a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Originally from Canada, Edward moved to the US several years ago and has enjoyed building his personal and professional life there. Outside of work, he is an avid reader, plays video games, and spends time caring for his cat.
