Daniel Mader is a Principal in the Energy and Natural Resources Practice at Oliver Wyman, based in Vienna. He advises companies in the oil and gas industry in regard to the entire value chain, with a focus on Downstream. His focus areas also include strategy development, operations, organizational development, cost optimization and new business models.
What excites me most about my job is to support our oil & gas clients managing their transition to become sustainable energy companies, for example through internal optimisations and value chain extensions. It is indeed a crucial time for the entire industry.
Due to his career of more than 15 years Daniel has an extensive industry knowledge, complemented by extensive experience at strategy consulting. Daniel studied international business administration in Vienna and London. In his private life he enjoys the culinary delights in Austria and his travels.
