Daisuke is a partner in our Banking and Financial Services practice, based in Tokyo.
He brings more than 30 years of extensive experience across a variety of areas, primarily in the financial industry, spanning company-wide growth strategy, marketing strategy, digital transformation, M&A, global expansion, as well as organizational and functional design.
Daisuke also has broad international experience in major markets, including the US, France, and Southeast Asia, where he has worked in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

He has also contributed to the development of Japan’s financial industry through roles within the Japanese government’s Financial Services Agency, serving as a speaker for the Financial Council’s working group on the medium- to long-term direction of Japan’s financial industry.
Before joining Oliver Wyman, Daisuke served as a partner and Japan representative at a global strategy consulting firm. He graduated from Keio University’s Faculty of Law and earned an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Outside of work, fishing, playing golf, and soccer are his favorite hobbies.
