Claire Negiar

Claire puts her success as a financial services consultant down to her inability to choose between what she calls her 'techy' and her 'fuzzy' side! At college Claire studied both Computer Science and Comparative Literature, to keep the two sides of her personality alive and kicking.
"I think it’s the product of my French education – we study over ten different subjects at a time. I developed this affinity for constantly changing subject matters, without putting my finger down on exactly which combination would keep me driven day-in and day-out. This persuaded me that consulting would be the most natural, satisfying fit for me."

She now works at Oliver Wyman's Financial Services practice and is responsible for cross office  training and development initiatives, as well as managing  communication between 2,000 consultants and representatives of Senior Leadership.

She ++ is Stanford's Women in Computer Science Network. Claire was chosen as its role model, featuring in the She ++ documentary that has been viewed in schools and major tech companies across over 15 countries.

On top of all this, Claire is also a talented multi-linguist, fluent in French, English and Spanish and even conversational Portuguese and German. Her superpower seems to be the ability to multi-task, finding time to enjoy Latin American Literature, Traveling, Creative Writing, Soccer, Tennis, and playing the flute.
