Chris is a partner in our Data and Analytics Practice, based in Newcastle.

With more than 15 years of experience in data strategy, analytics, and AI-driven transformation, he advises clients on translating data science into measurable commercial impact, with a particular focus on growth, pricing, consumer intelligence, and go-to-market strategy.

Chris brings broad industry experience, specializing in B2C businesses across retail, telecom, travel and leisure, retail banking, and private capital. He is recognized for his work in dynamic pricing, promotions optimization, demand forecasting, revenue acceleration, customer insight, next-best-action engines, AI transformation and bridging data and analytics capabilities with core commercial functions.

Chris rejoined Oliver Wyman after several years at Bain & Company, where he held senior leadership roles in AI and data science across EMEA. During this time, he led large-scale, high-value engagements, combining deep technical expertise with strong commercial delivery to help businesses convert AI ambition into real business impact.  

His academic background includes studying geography and economics at Lancaster University, followed by a PhD in geocomputation from the University of Leeds.

Outside of work, you will find Chris running, cycling, or golfing somewhere across the Yorkshire countryside. A proud father of three, he also enjoys spending time coaching the next generation of footballers.
