Chris is a healthcare actuary who advises organizations on understanding, managing, and pricing risk.
He works with health insurers, healthcare providers, employers, captive insurers, and state regulators across a broad range of actuarial topics. His experience includes product design and pricing, reserving, regulatory filings, capitation rate development, and the design of risk-sharing arrangements.
Chris also advises long-term care insurers on new and existing product pricing, block evaluations, and product design. For captive insurers, his work includes designing risk arrangements and providing reserve certifications.
Understanding risk is only the starting point. The real value comes from translating that insight into better decisions about pricing, products, and long-term sustainability
His broader experience includes preparing and certifying Medicare Advantage Part C and Part D bids, conducting feasibility studies for employee benefit captives, and providing actuarial opinions for statutory annual statements across health products.
Before joining Oliver Wyman, Chris was a pricing actuary at a Blue Cross Blue Shield organization. His responsibilities spanned pricing, financial forecasting, reserving, product development, and regulatory filings across group and individual health products.
Chris is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
