Carolina is a senior advisor with more than 30 years of experience in the insurance, healthcare, and pension industries.

She specializes in strategic leadership, commercial strategy, team management, and business performance, with extensive experience opening new markets, driving innovation, and leading organizational restructuring.

Throughout her career, Carolina has held senior executive positions at leading insurance and healthcare organizations in Brazil, including MAPFRE, ACE/Chubb, Amil, and SulAmérica. She has led profit and loss and commercial functions, with a focus on driving growth, redesigning distribution models, developing new products, and leading organizational change, including in mergers and acquisitions environments.

At MAPFRE, Carolina led the reorganization of the Life Insurance Commercial Division and developed a five-year strategic plan to reposition the company in the personal insurance market. At ACE/Chubb, she restructured the Group Life Insurance portfolio and implemented new operating models.

At Amil and SulAmérica, she led complex insurance and healthcare businesses spanning commercial strategy, products, distribution, and customer experience. Her work included reshaping product portfolios, evolving distribution models, building strategic partnerships, and leading large-scale organizational transformation.

Carolina holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mackenzie University in São Paulo and studied insurance administration at Kaufmännische Berufsschule in Germany. A native Portuguese speaker, she is fluent in German, English, and Spanish.

With more than three decades of senior executive experience, Carolina brings an international perspective to her work, along with strengths in stakeholder management, relationship building, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership. She is known for bridging strategy and execution and has built strong relationships across Brazil’s insurance sector.
