Brett is a senior principal in our Actuarial Property and Casualty (P&C) Practice, based in Chicago. With a focus on innovation, he leverages predictive analytics to support growth, profitability, and transformative product design for P&C insurers.

With more than two decades of experience in the P&C insurance industry, Brett advises insurance carriers on product design, pricing, and underwriting strategy, helping them respond to evolving risk profiles and changing customer expectations. His work spans personal and commercial lines, where he partners with clients to develop customer-centric products, optimize pricing frameworks, and enhance underwriting scorecards to improve risk selection and competitive positioning.

Brett also supports insurers in strengthening claims management and building scalable analytical frameworks that enable continuous monitoring and effective use of deeper, analytically driven results. Drawing on his prior roles across consulting and industry, Brett is known for leveraging nontraditional sources to generate actionable insights. His work helps clients navigate regulatory complexity while embedding data and market analytics to guide their day-to-day decision making.

He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics, with a major in actuarial science and a minor in statistics, from the University of Waterloo. He is an associate of the Society of Actuaries, a frequent speaker at industry meetings, and a contributor to industry thought leadership, including the Casualty Actuarial Society publication on basic ratemaking.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, appreciating the performing and visual arts, and spending time with family and friends. He stays active through swimming and hiking. Naturally curious, he remains engaged in purpose‑driven leadership, behavioral science, and humanistic psychology.
