With more than a decade of management consulting experience, he advises multinational corporations and private equity firms in Switzerland and globally. Bjoern combines deep expertise in strategic and operational transformation with a collaborative leadership style that fosters innovative problem‑solving across teams. He specializes in the full mergers and acquisitions (M&A) value chain — from pre‑deal support and commercial due diligence to post‑merger integration and transformation initiatives.

Bjoern has conducted more than 50 commercial (vendor) due diligence projects and led multiple long‑term transformations, consistently aiming to deliver sustainable impact beyond standard approaches. His work supports private equity (PE) firms in making informed investment decisions and growing portfolio companies sustainably. Recent engagements have focused on value creation, strategy development, and driving transformative outcomes for PE‑backed businesses.
Before joining Oliver Wyman, Bjoern held senior roles at Alvarez & Marsal and UniCredit. He earned a master’s degree with distinction from the University of St Andrews, where he studied finance, economics, and management.
For nearly a decade, Bjoern has also volunteered as a dedicated pro bono adviser to early‑stage companies, helping founders overcome operational hurdles and refine their commercial strategies.
Outside of consulting, he is an avid tennis and chess player, enjoys hiking and travel, and treasures time with his two daughters and the family dog.
