Augusto is a partner in Oliver Wyman’s Consumer, Telco and Technology practice, based in Madrid. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector.
Since joining Oliver Wyman in 1999, Augusto has advised leading and emerging operators around the world on strategy, regulation, marketing, commercial effectiveness, networks, operations, and transformation.
Telecommunications is constantly being reshaped by technology, infrastructure, and changing customer needs. The opportunity is to understand where the market is moving and turn that insight into stronger strategic and investment decisions
He also works with private equity investors and corporate clients on transactions across the telecommunications, media, and digital infrastructure landscape. His experience spans operators, telecommunications infrastructure, wholesale fiber networks, satellites, and data centers. Augusto advises buyers and sellers throughout the transaction lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and conducting due diligence to asset separation, post-merger integration, and value enhancement.
Before joining Oliver Wyman, Augusto worked as an engineer in Madrid and Antwerp, Belgium. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
