Angelo Federico has served as adviser to the vice president of European Investment Bank and then adviser and member of the executive board of the World Bank. Previously, he was an adviser in the Independent Evaluation Group (IEG), part of the World Bank Group. He also served as a member of the Consultative Committee (“Osservatorio”) on the European Constitution in Italy’s Ministry of EU Affairs from 2002 to 2004.
In the private sector, Angelo Federico held positions in IMI Bank, McKinsey & Company, and Accenture. He is currently a full professor at Università Marconi (Rome) and a senior fellow at the Center for International Governance Innovation (CIGI, Waterloo, ON, CN). He holds a degree (MSc) in economics and a PhD in economic history (Bocconi University, Milan).
