Alberto is a partner in our Actuarial Practice, based in Munich and supporting our offering across continental Europe.
He supports insurers in gaining a deeper understanding of the risk profile associated with the businesses they underwrite and offers guidance on how to effectively achieve their business objectives. In particular, Alberto and his team provide actuarial consulting services to help clients analyze and optimize their risk, solvency, and capital positions.
Alberto has more than a decade of experience in the insurance industry. His main areas of expertise include risk modeling and validation of economic capital models, Solvency II, economic valuations of insurance companies, and risk oversight and steering in the context of a wide range of business decisions.
Within an international insurance group, he led the internal model validation activities at group level, before serving as regional chief risk officer (CRO) — managing risk activities and teams in more than 25 countries across Europe, Switzerland, Asia, and Latin America. With a strong technical background and extensive knowledge in the risk field, Alberto brings a wealth of expertise to his role as a consultant.

Alberto holds an MSc in quantitative finance and insurance from the University of Turin and an MPhil in financial economics from Collegio Carlo Alberto.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and hiking in the mountains.
