Valeria is a recruitment coordinator based in our Amsterdam office.
She is first person new joiners meet and plays a crucial role in guiding candidates through every step of the hiring process. She witnesses the evolution of a candidate, from their initial contact with the company through events or referrals, to the moment they receive a job offer. She understands what motivates people to make decisions and strives to provide them with a positive and memorable recruitment experience.
I believe that understanding human drives helps me to comprehend what motivates individuals to make specific decisions. This knowledge enables me to provide candidates with a better recruitment experience
Valeria loves the tightknit culture of the Amsterdam office, where she has made many friends and has the freedom to take initiative. She also appreciates the coaching, feedback, and development opportunities that Oliver Wyman offers, which have enabled her to grow personally and professionally.
Originally from Peru, Valeria moved to the Netherlands in 2017 to pursue her studies, where she completed her Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management at the Vrije Universiteit. She joined Oliver Wyman shortly after in 2021 as an intern, before becoming a full time member of staff in 2022.
In her free time, Valeria likes to work out, read psychology books, and travel to exotic destinations, especially the Caribbean islands. She is passionate about living a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
