With more than 18 years of experience, Ashwin advises private equity clients across the full deal lifecycle, from investment thesis validation and commercial due diligence to post-acquisition value creation. He has deep expertise in helping investors identify high-quality opportunities and drive sustainable growth in portfolio companies.
Ashwin’s work spans a range of sectors, including healthcare and life sciences, private education, and industrials. Over the past decade, he has advised on more than 50 transactions representing more than US$5 billion in capital deployment. He is particularly passionate about the continued evolution of India’s private equity ecosystem and the opportunity to help shape the next phase of market growth.

In addition to his client work, Ashwin has authored several thought leadership pieces on private equity trends, with a particular focus on MedTech, healthcare services, and the education sector.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Outside of work, Ashwin enjoys running and exploring cuisines from different cultures.
