Ted is the President and CEO of Oliver Wyman and Marsh Management Consulting.
His career at the firm spans nearly three decades, during which he has held multiple senior leadership roles, serving as Global Head of Industries, where he was responsible for the firm’s growth across all industries, and, before that, as Global Head of Financial Services.
With deep expertise at the intersection of strategy, risk, and transformation, Ted has worked closely with chief executives, boards, and senior leaders across global financial institutions. His strategic vision and operational leadership have shaped the firm’s work across investment banking, corporate and institutional banking, and enterprise‑wide transformation. Earlier in his career, he led European Financial Services and served as Global Head of the Corporate and Institutional Banking Practice.

Ted advises many CEOs on firm‑wide strategic direction and change. He also advises policymakers, industry bodies, and regulatory authorities on the development of sound rulemaking. He contributes actively to debate around economic development and sound government policy.
Before joining Oliver Wyman, Ted specialized in mathematics and control engineering. In 2010, he was named in the Financial News “Rising Stars” list, recognizing the most influential emerging leaders in European financial services.
