Victor is a partner in our Banking and Financial Services practice in Belgium and France and leads Oliver Wyman Belgium.
During his time at Oliver Wyman, Victor has advised banking and insurance executives, particularly on financial resource management and risk management, including asset and liability management, credit, and capital.
The main challenges in the financial services industry are to meet short-term objectives in a difficult macro-economic context, while still meeting their long-term goals (ESG, profitability, market shares). Real winners will be able to turn these challenges into opportunities
Born in Ghent, Victor is fluent in Dutch, French, and English. He graduated magna cum laude from the Solvay Business School with a summa cum laude exchange in South Korea.
Victor’s motivation for strategy consulting lies in the impact and strategic importance our projects have for our clients, as well as the relationships built with clients and colleagues internationally.
Outside of consulting, Victor enjoys spending time with his sons and wife, trekking, scuba diving, and logging down trees.
