The aviation sector in China is one of the fastest growing in the world: according to the OECD, China is already the fifth-largest aviation passenger market and fourth-largest air freight market. Air traffic has grown more rapidly than other domestic transportation modes, and within the next two decades, China is projected to become the largest commercial aviation market outside of the United States.
