Tony’s client work is centered around retail payments (credit, debit, prepaid, mobile payments) for different stakeholders (issuers, networks, acquirers) and retail delivery channels (ATM, online, mobile, next gen). Tony has 20 years’ consulting experience working with leading financial services organizations, payment networks, and processors around the world to develop compelling go-to-market strategies, operating models, and strategic M&A. Additionally, he has advised sophisticated private equity firms considering investments in the ATM, debit, and prepaid markets.
Tony regularly speaks on banking and payments issues at industry events, including organizing and chairing the American Banker’s PayThink conference for the past 10+ years. Tony serves on the Federal Reserve’s Consumer Payments Research Center’s Advisory Board and the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Task Force. His recent publications include “The Durbin Amendment: Worse Than the Worst Case Scenario” and “The Regulation of Traditional and Alternative Electronic Payments.”
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman in 2007, Tony was a Managing Director with Dove Consulting, where he led the firm’s financial services practice. He graduated with First Class Honors from Oxford University.
