Simon Harris is Oliver Wyman’s Chief Strategy Officer. In this role, he focuses on enhancing our propositions to clients and talent, and pursuing strategic opportunities and acquisitions to build out new geographies and capabilities.

Simon has spearheaded many strategic initiatives, including the launch and expansion of key sectors & capabilities (including Health & Life Sciences via the acquisition of Chapterhouse, Energy via the acquisition of Corven, Digital Technology & Analytics via the acquisition of LShift), entry and expansion in markets across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific. This work builds upon his leadership roles in rebranding and unifying our legacy companies, and transforming the firm around a common strategy.

Beyond his executive management roles, Simon has more than 20 years of consulting experience in North America, Europe, and beyond. He developed key client relationships and led Oliver Wyman’s corporate and commercial banking practice. He is the author of several industry-shaping reports and has been a frequent contributor to top-tier media and conferences.

Before joining Oliver Wyman in 1992, Simon worked at LEK Consulting and Racal Electronics. Simon has a First Class Master’s degree in Engineering from Cambridge University.

Simon is a keen sailor and has completed numerous offshore races, including various Fastnets and the Newport-Bermuda race.
