From planes, trains, and automobiles, Robbie has a passion for all things that move. Today he brings this love to work as a Partner in the Transportation and Services Practice, where he solves the gnarliest problems for our aviation and rail clients.
Sustainability is top of Robbie's agenda, and he has spent the last three years supporting a wide variety of global initiatives to decarbonize aviation and advising clients on net zero strategy, sustainable investments, transition planning and carbon accounting.
The need to address the problem of sustainability is the most pressing and challenging of our time. I'm proud to be playing a small part by helping clients baseline their emissions, mitigate risk and decarbonize — delivering huge opportunity to those bold enough to accelerate towards it
Before joining Oliver Wyman, Robbie, who grew up in Ireland, spent more than 15 years designing and operating airplanes — he’s uniquely qualified to understand the full lifecycle of transportation assets, and this knowledge infuses the 3D Carbon Accounting team's world-class service.
He has an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the University of Limerick, and is also a qualified ISO14064 Carbon Accountant.
Outside of work, Robbie enjoys spending time with his wife Gilly, their two boys Charlie and Alex, and their Labrador Benji. If he can sneak away, he’ll head to the rugby club to relive his glory days as a half-decent rugby player and referee.
